About Us
Marcoola Tyre & Mechanical is a family owned and operated local business situated between the Maroochy River (south) and Coolum (North). We are just off the David Low Way via the Sunshine Coast airport entrance.
Our Staff:
- Three full-time technicians with over 70 years experience between them;
- Two apprentices.Trained by MTAQ.
- Two casual office staff.
Our workshop is bold and brightly visible from the road. It is well lit and ventilated. Staff are happy, helpful and very competent.
We believe that honesty is the best policy and doing a job well the first time, at a reasonable price. All our work is warranted and we go out of our way to make our customers feel comfortable and kept up to date with the progress of their vehicles.
Our associations with RACQ, MTAQ and IAME are your guarantee of top rate service. We are governed by Codes of Practice by both RACQ and MTAQ who will ensure that all repairs are carried out in an honest and timely manner.

Tyre Service
Safety & Environment:
- Hoists are inspected, cleaned and lubed on a weekly basis and serviced every 12 months;
- Electrical equipment is tested and tagged at 6 monthly intervals;
- Workshop and surrounds are kept spot clean;
- Vehicle fluids are disposed of correctly;
- New wash bay and waste separator;
- All waste oils and filters are recycled;
- Waste water is run through water separator;
- All metals, paper and cardboard are recycled.
